Parade Participation

Would you like to be a part of this year's Heritage Parade and Festival? We would love to have you! You are invited to participate in the 2014 Henderson Heritage Parade, Saturday, April 26! We are seeking unique entries and floats to celebrate our city’s history, rich traditions and community spirit. You can download the official application here

All entries will be judged based on three categories: Incorporation of Theme, Creativity and Overall Appeal. We encourage you to decorate your entry using items you may find at a farmer’s market as inspiration. Dress as Old MacDonald in overalls, a plaid shirt, and a straw hat, or garnish your entry with vegetable, fruit, or flower-inspired decorations. Cash prizes will be awarded to floats for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

If you have any questions regarding participation, please contact Dianne Mizelle at (702) 267-2171 or via email.

People's Choice

Support your school, community organization or business by casting your vote for your favorite parade entry! Fans in attendance on Saturday, April 26 will be able to vote for their favorite entry to determine the 2014 People’s Choice Award winner.

The process is simple. On the day of the parade, there will be a QR Code available via the event program, event signage and our website homepage here at HendersonLive.com. Simply enter your name, email address and check the box of your favorite entry. You will then need to check your email, verify your vote and you're all set. Voting will only be open on the day of the parade, Saturday, April 26 from 9am - 12 noon.
