Henderson Events Plaza, 200 Water Street
Over 25,000 people attended the Henderson Heritage Parade & Festival on April 17, which celebrated the city’s 57-year history, rich traditions and community spirit. More than 70 parade entries, including local schools, organizations and community leaders, marched down the mile-long route through the Water Street District from Ocean Avenue to Victory Road. They were led by UNLV Runnin’ Rebels head basketball coach, Lon Kruger, who served as parade grand marshal.
