The Best in the Desert - Henderson 250 Desert Race is an annual off-road desert race and the final race of the season for the Best in the Desert racing series.
Created, supported and hosted by the City of Henderson, 2012 marks the 11th year welcoming desert racers, spectators and enthusiasts to town. Best in the Desert Racing Association (BITD) produces and sanctions this annual event and has designated the start/finish line, main spectator area and race course will be once again, located in Jean, NV.
As the Best in the Desert - Henderson 250 Desert Race marks the final and deciding race for the Best in the Desert yearly racing series, it draws one of the largest numbers of participants.
Other ancillary events include welcome party and announcement of time trials, driver/rider meet & greets, technical inspections for racers and vehicles and an off-road expo on Water Street with music, food, beverage and merchandise vendors. This unique portion of the evetn offers spectators the opportunity to enjoy up close viewing of all race vehicles, as well as a chance to get photographs and autographs from the racers.
