Las Vegas Youth Orchestras feat. Alpin Hong

Music, Mussorgsky & The Machine!

October 25, 2014 Renowned guest artist Alpin Hong returns for another spectacular residency with the Las Vegas Youth Orchestras and the City of Henderson.  Mr. Hong’s last collaboration with the LVYO, “Heroes and Villains, A Night of Might and Magic” celebrated the Halloween holiday with themes from popular video games, television, and movies.  This adventurous concert brings classical music making into the modern era by incorporating technology and student-created visual projections to thrill all of the senses.  Partnering with former LVYO director and electronic artist Mark Carroll, Mr. Hong utilizes the training and talent of the orchestral students to create a dynamically interactive audience experience.  Don’t miss the chance to enjoy beloved classical music flung into the future by the performers of tomorrow!
